588 Tactical White

Tactical White is completely phthalate-free and specially designed for cotton/poly blended fabrics to prevent dye migration. Tactical White’s short body and creamy texture easily prints on both manual and automatic presses through meshes up to 230/in (92T) making it a perfect choice when an economical underbase and highlight white is necessary in a simulated process print. It provides excellent results when used as an underbase, stand-alone or highlight white. In all other textile applications.

  • Gel Temperature: Ink will surface gel at 240° F (116° C).

    Curing: Excalibur Ink will fully heat cure when the entire ink film reaches 320°F (160°C). Light colors may require longer periods to obtain this temperature.

    Heat Transfers: This ink may be used to produce cold-peel transfers.

    Screen Mesh: For direct printing, a 40-230/inch (16T-72Tcm) mesh may be used.

    Ink Modification: Because plastisol inks are thixotropic and can body up during storage always stir ink thoroughly prior to printing or adding reducers. If necessary 501PF Curable Reducer may be added increase printability of ink and to help clean ink from the screen mesh. CAUTION: Adding too much 501PF Curable Reducer will reduce opacity.

    Squeegee: Medium Durometer (70) or Triple Durometer (90/70/90) is recommended.

    Stencil: Any emulsion or capillary film compatible with plastisol inks.
